HOLBROOK, NY — A Wading River woman allegedly drove in the wrong direction of Sunrise Highway for an eight-mile stretch between Islip and Holbrook early Sunday morning, according to Suffolk County Police. GORDON HEIGHTS, NY — Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad and Arson Section detectives are investigating a house fire that killed a 23-month-old girl in Gordon Heights early Wednesday morning.
