URGENT: Silver Alert - Claudia Gerarde of Farmingville

FARMINGVILLE, NY (OnSachem.com / OnTownMedia.com) — Suffolk County Police issued a Silver Alert tonight for a missing Farmingville woman.

Claudia Gerarde, 66, went missing from her home located at 41 Pinedale Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. today, Jan. 16, after she went walking around the area.

According to police, Gerarde is bipolar and suffers from delusions. 

Police describe Gerarde as a white female with grey chin-length hair, 5-feet-4-inches tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, has green eyes and wears glasses.

Gerarde was last seen wearing black and white leggings, a green shirt and brown jacket, police said.

Anyone with information on Gerarde’s location is asked to call 911 or the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

As a reminder, police said Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
