HOLTSVILLE, NY (OnSachem.com / OnTownMedia.com) — The Long Island Expressway is open again in Holtsville.
At 4:52 p.m. Thursday, Suffolk County Police reported all westbound lanes were closed at Exit 62 / Nicolls Road (County Route 97) for a motor vehicle crash.
The roadway remained closed for approximately one hour and reopened before 6 p.m.
