HOLBROOK, NY — One of the key metrics to beginning the first phase of Long Island's economic reopening as early as Wednesday is having enough "contact tracers" hired, trained, and ready to work, according to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Law enforcement officials announced today they have taken down an alleged major drug trafficking ring that—officials allege—used the pandemic as an opportunity to grow their business. Martinez (D-Brentwood) has been advocating to assist residents who have found themselves in a unique situation, needing to collect unemployment benefits, but owing New York State ‘forfeit days’ due to prior actions or errors.
