HOLBROOK, NY (OnSachem.com / OnTownMedia.com) — Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Sachem Public Library in Holbrook will carry on with its 5th annual Haunted Garden, making some accommodations for health and safety.
This year’s theme is Grimm's Fairy Tales. Once upon a frightful night, the Brothers Grimm fairytales came to life!
The Haunted Garden will be open Oct. 26, 27, 28, and 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., weather permitting. If a rain date is needed, the Haunted Garden will also open Oct. 30.
To ensure a safe and spooky night, masks will be required at all times, social distancing will be followed, and there will be a one-way path with timed walkthroughs.
Attendees are encouraged to support the library’s winter clothing drive by donating new or gently used coats, boots, snow pants, and new gloves, hats, socks, and scarves.
Advance registration is required this year because of the pandemic. To register for any remaining spots, call the library at 631-588-5024. The library is located at 150 Holbrook Road in Holbrook.
